Explanation:

From inspection of the given diagram:

A = (1, 2)

A' = (3, 6)

As the triangle has been enlarged by a scale factor of 3 and centre (0, 0), to find the coordinates of B' simply mulitply the coordinates of B by the scale factor:

As B = (3, 1)

⇒ B' = (3 × 3, 1 × 3) = (9, 3)
