1. M represents slope.

2. (-1-1)/(-2+4) = -2/2 = -1

3. Take any of the two given y's and their corresponding x's.

I'll take (3,12) and (4,13)

Plug into y2-y1/x2-x1

13-12/4-3 = 1/1 or 1 over 1

4. 4-0/1-0 = 4/1
