Answer is u= -7

Step by step

We know point (0, -4) which means our y intercept is at -4
We know slope is 1/7

y = 1/7x - 4

Graph it and find where the line crosses the x axis at -5 y which is -7 so our point is (-7, -5)

You can also use the formula
(y2 - y1) over (x2 - x1)

-5 - -4 over “u” - 0

-1 over ( u - 0 = -7 so u = -7)

-1/-7 = 1/7 slope
A line has a slope of 1/7 and includes the points (0,–4) and (u,–5). What is the value-example-1
