There are 2 ways that we can solve this

substitution or elimination

since both of the equations say that y is equal to ("y="), this means that both equations equal each other

So we can rearrange the equations:


2/3x-10=4/6x+10

since we know that 2/3 is the same as 4/6 we can cross out 2/3 and 4/6

the equation will look like this after you do this step:

-10=10

Since we know that this is not a true statement

we can come to a conclusion that this system has no solution.
