Answer:

y=ax+b

a=(y2-y1) /(x2-x1) =(-4+2)/(-4+5)=-2

The equation becomes:

y=-2x+b

Substitute (-2,-5) in the equation:

-5=-2(-2)+b

b=-9

y=-2x-9
