Explanation:

(dy)/(dx) ( √(x) ) = (1)/(2 √(x) )

The slope of the line at x=1 is

(1)/(2(1)) = (1)/(2)

so our equation is

y - 1 = (1)/(2) (x - 1)

y - 1 = (1)/(2) x - (1)/(2)

y = (1)/(2) x + (1)/(2)
