"Patience is a virtue". No doubt you've heard that saying before, and it's certainly true. Virtue is defined as "conformity to a sense of right". It has oft been argued that a person's sense of right is born to them. I beg to differ. I can think of several pertinent examples of people who rose above their childhood to raise good children and do good. It is a person's own responsibility to learn and emulate virtue, as nobody can do that for someone. Sometimes, acquiring a set of virtues may not be easy. The best way to cultivate virtue is to observe and learn from those who have virtues we wish to possess.
