The ratio of 7th grade students to 8th grade students in a soccer league is 7:13, if there are 100 students in all ,how many are in 7th grade ?

The ratio of the 7th grade is 7 and the ratio of the 8th grade is 13. Total ratio is 7+13 =20.
The fraction of the 7th grade is 7/20
7/20*100=35

So there are 35 students in the 7th grade
