Answer is equation y= 1/3x

Step by step

We know from the graph
points (6, 2) and (0, 0)

We find slope with formula
y2 - y1 over x2 -x1.

Since our 2nd set of points is zero, we get 2/6, (y/x) simplified to 1/3.

We can use point slope form to find our equation.

y - y1 = m (x - x1) using points (6, 2) and m= 1/3

y - 2 = 1/3 (x - 6)
Distribute

y - 2 = 1/3x -2

add 2 to both sides to solve for y

y -2 +2 = 1/3x -2 +2
Combine

y = 1/3x

We can look at the graph and see our slope from zero is rise 1 run 3 and the y intercept is at (0)

Problem solved!
