Answer:

Explanation:

stop being a youser :P Youser ... I hope you're not... anyway...

back to math

we are given a point at (3.5, 2.5) as a midway point

and also point A as P1(2,5)

so we could find the slope of those two points, but, by observation I can see the slope. and so can you.

b/c from point A to the mid point, x moves from 2 to 3.5 ... or 1.5 units over. we can use that with the change in Y to find the slope.

so when x moves 1.5 units, then y changes from 5 to 2.5. which is a change of 2.5 units

so now we know the slope... it's rise over run. here that's

2.5 / 1.5... also this is downhill... from 5 to 2.5 is going down a hill. so this is negative also

-1.66666666, or -1
(2)/(3) is the slope. just by observation

so go over another 1.5 to get to B and then x = 3.5+1.5 or 5

5 is the x coordinate of B

we also know that Y will decrease by 2.5 as we move along the x axis 1.5 units. so now Y = 2.5-2.5 or zero

so the Y coordinate of B is 0

B=(5,0)

see how I did that?
