Is it right to write “ the South of England? , or the south of England.

Answer: the South of England

Step-by-step explanation:

Because it HAS to have the South/East/West/North capitalized if you are having a place at the end. If you are talking/explaining about a place and you don't know if you should capitalize the South/East/West/North, then it has to be capital. If your not talking about a place, then it doesn't have to be capitalized.
