• x² + 4x + 4 = 283
• (x+ 2)² = 283

• x + 2 = 16.8 (rounded)

Question 14

• CD/GD = ED/FD

• 15/(x + 3) = (3x + 1)/4
• (3x + 1)(x + 3) = 15*4
• 3x² + 12x + 3 = 60
• 3x² + 12x = 57
• x² + 4x = 19
• x² + 4x + 4 = 23
• (x + 2)² = 23
