Williams High School has a ratio of 40 students for every 2 teachers. If this constant ratio is plotted on a graph with teachers on the x-axis and students on the y-axis, what is the x-value if the y-value is 140?

40 times 3 is 120 so 6 teachers if there is 40 students per 2 teachers then that would mean 20 students per teacher so add 20 to 120 and the equals 140 and the extra 20 students added was equal to 1 teachers so 140 students equals 7 teachers
X=7
