Complete metamorphosis involves four distinct stages which are egg, larva,

pupa and adult stages. The pupa stage is the non-feeding stage in which the

animal tries to break from the larva structures.

The animal doesn't usually look similar to the adult when it hatches as it

undergoes series of developments to get to the adult stage. There is no

nymph stage in this type of metamorphosis which makes option B the most

appropriate choice.
