Answer:

3x-2y=0

Explanation:

Using two point form for finding the equation:

y-y_(1) =(y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2)-x_(1) )(x-x_(1) )

Since the line is starting from origin then A(0,0) andpassing point B(8,12):

y-0=(12-0)/(8-0) (x-0)

y=(12)/(8)(x)

y=(3)/(2) (x)

2y=3x

3x-2y=0

Verification:

Put the value of B(8,12) in the equation:

3x-2y=0

3(8)-2(12)=0

24-24=0

0=0

Hence the equation is correct

Hope it helps.
