area of semicircle = 0.5 x 3.14 x radius x radius

diameter of circle= 20mm

radius=0.5x20mm=10mm

area of trapezium= 0.5 x (base+base) x height

Working:

area of semicircle= 0.5 x 3.14 x 10mm x 10mm = 157mm2

area of trapezium = 0.5 x (20mm+32mm) x 14mm = 364mm2

total area of figure= 157mm2 + 364mm2 =521mm2
