The function h is defined by h(x) = 5(x - 2).

What is the value of h(8) ?

30 is the answer.

First you substitute 8 in the place of x so instead of h(x)=5(x-2), you would have h(x)=5(8-2). From there, you get h(x)= 5 times (8-2) which would be 5 times 6 which would be 30.
