We know that if the X value has two Y values then it cannot be a function.

In this question, we only need to look at the X values. If we see any X values that repeat, we know that it is not a function.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------First we will take all the X values and forget about the Y values.

A) 5, -1, 2, -8

B) -5, -4, -5, 2

C) -4, -2, -1, 5

D) 2, -4, 9, -3

Now that we have all the X values, we can look and see if there are any repeats.

If we look at B, we can see that there are two -5 x values. That means that B is not a function.
