The missing values are -256 and 1024.

Geometric Sequence

In a Geometric Sequence each next term is the previous term multiplied by a constant.

So to find the missing values, we need:

  1. Divide the next term by the previous to find the constant
  2. Multiply the last term {64} by the constant to find the fourth term
  3. Multiply the fourth term by the constant to find the fifth term
  4. Multiply the fifth term by the constant to check if we get the sixth

1 step:

-16:4 = -4 {or 64:(-16)=-4. no matter which pair we take}

so, the constant is -4

2 step:

64×(-4) = -256

3 step:

-256×(-4) = 1024

4 step:

1024×(-4) = -4096

So,

the missing values are -256 and 1024.
