Why are there no intercepts on the graph of y=csc x?

The equation cannot be solved because it is undefined. These are the x and y intercepts of the equation y=csc(x) y = csc ( x ) .

Answer:

There are no intercepts in the graph of csc(x) because the graph never touches the x- or y-axis.

Cosecant is undefined at x = 0 and y = 0.
