ANSWER: 100

distance formula: d= √(x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2

d= √(2-8)^2 +(10-2)^2
d= √(-6)^2 + (8)^2
d= √36 + 64
d= √100
d= 10

10-2= 8
8^2= 64
2-8=-6
-6^2= 36
