Sub: Invitation Letter the First College Sports Committee Meeting

Dear (Committee Member),

As you are well aware, the college's Annual Sports Event is approaching in the summer vacations this year. We have been tasked by the board, (who are very much interested in the details of all our activities, to ensure that there is remarkable progress of last year's performance, particularly in basketball, football, and long tennis.

The school governing council whilst congratulating our performance from last year has expressly stated that excellent performance this year is critical to the continued support the school receives from sponsors and those who support our star students in scholarship grants.

In view of the above, it is germane that we meet to deliberate and come up with strategies that would ensure that our goals are met. The first of such meetings is slated for the 8th of August, 2021, and is mandatory for all sports committee members.
