The area of the rectangle = length × breadth

Letting the width = x m

Then, length = 4x m

A = l × b = 100 m²

4x × x = 100 m²

x² = 100/4 m²; then removing the squares

x = 10/2 m

x = 5 m = width

Length = 20 m
