Solution:

The surface area of this solid prism is

`A=P* h+2B`

Where, P is the perimeter of the base, B is the area of the base and h is the height of the prism.

Perimeter of the base is:

`P=6+8+10`

`P=24`

Area of the base is:

`B=(1)/(2)* base* height`

`B=(1)/(2)* 8* 6`

`B=24`

Putting
`P=24` and
`B=24` in the formula for area, we get

`A=(24)* 9+2(24)`

`A=216+48`

`A=264`

Therefore, the surface area of the given prism is 264 m².
