Explanation:

Since the coordinates of A is (1,1) and the coordinates of B is (5,4), the x coordinates of C would be in the middle of 1 and 5, which can be solved by doing (1+5)/2=3. Therefore the x coordinate of C is 3. The same goes for the y coordinate so it would be (1+4)/2=2.5. Therefore the coordinates of C are (3,2.5)
