Try using distributive property for both but with the first one you do distributive property then you solve the equation as shown in the picture below then You saw the other equations day and I answered and the one that gives you zero which is 2(5+a)=6
And for the second one you have to do is just distributive property as shown in the second picture and the answer should be 8x+2
