The emphasis of a test is for it to prove that what is been tested is what it really is. An example would be an HIV test to prove presence of it in an individual, assuming the test samples are not given the exact result which is necessary then there is no evidence, result or prove to show that the scientist has done his job perfect. The job becomes perfect or close to it when the evidence or result meets the desired expectation to a satisfactory level.
