Certainly a tough one to answer.

But, I would say that the response to the Great Depression, overall, was a good one. The best example I can give is FDR giving a multitude of jobs to the people of the United States. He created what he called the “New Deal”in which over the course of years, saved the US from the Great Depression.

Several relief efforts were made to help the people of the US during the depression. While they tried their hardest, there were so many people to deal with in the depression. But that effort to help certainly moved America forward while they dealt with the depression.
