Cos A = 4/5

To find trigonometric ratio, recall SOHCAHTOA.

Thus:

Reference angle = <A

Opposite side to <A = 6

Adjacent side = 8

Hypotenuse = AB = √(8² + 6²) = 10 (pythagorean theorem)

Therefore,

✔️Sin A = Opp/Hyp

Sin A = 6/10 = 3/5

✔️Cos A = Adj/Hyp

Cos A = 8/10 = 4/5
