Answer: In today's day and age, the majority of the world does not have the
knowledge of how to survive in the wilderness properly and keep
themselves from getting in danger, because the majority of society
today has been raised in populated non-wilderness settings. As a
result of the lack of familiarity with wild settings every year the
National Park Service and many other wildlife, services are utilized
in rescuing people that are ill-prepared to handle themselves in the
wilderness. If unprepared civilians had a program to attend so that
they could learn the proper necessary skills needed to be in the wild
in rough terrain, then a significantly fewer number of people would
have to be rescued. There are many devices that can help keep a
person safe in the wild, and there are lots of ways to call for help,
but because these options of protection are available to people they
can often miss treating those devices of protection and as a result,
they make coky designs that are ill-thought-through, which can put them in danger.
