Okay, so first you have to find the area of all the shapes that make up the net, I'm going to start with the triangle:

So the height is 2 and the base is 5, so we plug this into our equation to get:

2 x 5 ÷ 2 = 5

There's 2 triangles so:

5 x 2 = 10

Then we start on the rectangles, we're going left to right:

6 x 3 = 18

5 x 5 = 25

4 x 6 = 24

Then we add that all up:

10 + 18 + 25 + 24 = 77

So the net of the triangular prism is 77cm²
