Area of a triangle (base/width*height)/2
Therefore:
x= height
19*x=247*2
19x=494
x=26
The height of the triangle is 26 inch

(26*19)/2=area=247

\textit{area of a triangle}\\\\ A=\cfrac{1}{2}bh ~~ \begin{cases} b=\stackrel{width}{base}\\ h=height\\[-0.5em] \hrulefill\\ A=247\\ b=19 \end{cases}\implies 247=\cfrac{1}{2}(19)h \\\\\\ 494=19h\implies \cfrac{494}{19}=h\implies 26=h
