Answer: Germany's anger regarding several of the elements of the Treaty of Versailles created the German desire for revenge. And, The Treaty of Versailles led to economic hardship in Germany which allowed for the rise of Hitler, who believed the Aryan race was destined to rule humanity.

Explanation: Germany wasn't even allowed to take part in the after war treaties so they weren't able to take part of any of the land distributions. Also the Treaty ended with it being decided that because Germany started the war, they would have to pay for all of the damages caused. This destroyed Germany and allowed someone like Hitler to come to power.
