Answer:

y - 6 = 8(x + 4)

Explanation:

The point-slope form is
y-y_(1)=m(x-x_(1)), where y1 and x1 are any point on the line and m is the slope.

The formula for slope is
(y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2)-x_(1) )

By plugging in the points we have, we get:
(22-6)/(-2-(-4))=8=m

We can use any of the two pairs of points to represent y1 and x1 so if we choose (-4,6), we get:

y-6=8(x-(-4))\\y-6=8(x+4)
