\huge \sf \dag \: Answer :

\longmapsto \rm 2x + 6x + 10 = 0

\longmapsto \rm 8x = - 10

\longmapsto \sf x = - (10)/(8)

Because this is just an ordinary linear equation and only has 1 value of x that meets it, it can be concluded that the value of
\tt x_1 is equal to
\tt x_2, then:

\longmapsto \sf x_2 + x_2

\longmapsto \sf ( - (10)/(8) ) + ( - (10)/(8) )

\longmapsto \sf \boxed{\boxed{ \bf{ - (20)/(8)}} }

-I Hope This Helps!!
