The equation of a line is y = mx +b

m = slope - which is equal to 1

x = x coordinate

b = y intercept (where the line hits the y axis)

y = y coordinate.

The point (2, 0) shows that when x = 2, y = 0. So we can plug that into the equation:

0 = 1(2) + b

0 = 2 + b

0 - 2 = 2 -2 +b

-2 = b

So the equation of the line is y = x - 2

I hope this helps!
