In humans, earlobes that are suspended are dominant over those that are attached. If a

mother has suspended earlobes (but her mother did not) and the father has attached
earlobes, what are the chances that their first child will have attached earlobes? What
about the fourth child?

The mother had suspended but HER mother had attached which meant her genotype was ee. so she gave an e gene to her daughter and she got the E from her dad.

Now the new mother has a genotype of Ee
The father has attached earlobes - recessive, so his genotype is ee

In a punnet square it looks as below.
The children have 50% 50% chances of having attached or suspended earlobes
