Determine how many solutions there are to the equation

8x+4=4(2x+1)

There are none. The answer is 0

If you subtract and simplify, you will come up with 8x=8x and you have to subtract 8 from both sides and combine like terms which equal to 0

Answer: 0

Explanation:

8x-4=4(2x+1)

8x-4=8x+4

0= 8

This isn't true as 0 can't equal to 8 so there are 0 solutions
