LN = XZ , that is

5x - 19 = 2x + 5 ( subtract 2x from both sides )

3x - 19 = 5 ( add 19 to both sides )

3x = 24 ( divide both sides by 3 )\

x = 8

then

XZ = 2x + 5 = 2(8) + 5 = 16 + 5 = 21 cm
