Answer: First we need to remember what a habit and an Addiction is.

Step-by-step explanation:

A habit can be summed up as a routine or regular behavior that gets harder to give up the longer that behavior goes on. For example, brushing your teeth every morning, making your bed or staying up late.

However, Addictions, on the other hand, are much more powerful than habits. In these instances people will commonly make sacrifices to their lives out of an obligation to pursue a substance or practice.

Therefore, the similarities between Addictions and Habits include, Can be difficult to stop once started and both are commonly done on a daily basis.

The differences include, Addictions are much more strong, for example habits can be broke within a few days to weeks. But an addiction can take months, even years to get over. And common times if an addiction is so bad, that person might look to professional help.
