  • -3 x 2 = -6

  • 8 x 2 = 16

2) Put the numbers you have worked out into the equation

-6 + 1.5 + 5 - 4.5 + 16

3) Work out the final equation

  • -6 + 1.5 = -4.5
  • -4.5 + 5 = 0.5
  • 0.5 - 4.5 = -4
  • -4 + 16 = 12
