x + -4/5 - x - 1/6 = 1/3
now why?
1. Add the numbers
x - 4/5 - x + 1/6 =1/3
x - 19/30 - x = 1/3
2. Combine like terms
x - 19/30 - x = 1/3
-19/30 = 1/3
Result:
-19/30 = 1/3
Hope this helps! :)
