Answer:

she purchased 3 chocolate bars

Explanation:

hope this helps :)

what i did to find this problem is that i multiplied 3 x 3, which is 9, and then multiplied 1.50 x 3, which was 4.50. i added 9 + 4.50 and i got the answer!

Answer:

She bought 5 chocolate bars.

Explanation:

let x = number of chocolate bars

let y = number of gummy bears

\begin{cases}x + y = 7\\1.5x + 3y = 13.5\end{cases}\\\\\\\to - \begin{cases}3x + 3y = 21\\1.5x + 3y = 13.5\end{cases}\\\\\\\to 1.5x = 7.5\\\to x = 5\\\\
