THIS IS JUST FOR FEEDBACK, so if anyone can give me feedback on my compare and contrast essay, then thank you.

I was in shock when I heard from my social studies teacher that there are similarities between North and South Korea. All my life, I thought that the number of differences between the two countries would make it impossible for them to be alike in any other way. I even researched the countries and couldn't believe the number of similarities I found about them. I even found out that both countries used to be one country before the year 1948. it turns out that the government and economy of the north and south Korea are indeed different, but there are some similarities between the countries, such as culture when you think about it.

Sometimes governments can separate countries from each other and bring countries to each other; an example of bringing the two countries together is that both south and north Korea gained independence on August 15, 1945, from japan. Simultaneously, examples of separating the two countries from each other are that North Korea's government is rigorous and almost controls everything, including investment, trade, visitors, internet, religion, traffic, and food/clothing. On the other hand, South Korea's government is not strict, and their economy is multiplying. When it comes to a country's government, nothing can change one country's relationship with another country, especially when the government breaks them apart.

Occasionally, there are some differences in the economy between north and south Korea, but that never means that there will not be some similarities. For instance, north and south Korea are active in investing from other countries, and both countries have an electronics industry. Some diversity between the two countries is that the government entirely plans north Korea also only china and Russia are allowed to invest in North Korea on a tiny scale; another thing that differs them is that North Korea has industries that consist: electronics, telecommunications, chemicals, shipbuilding, and steel. While in the meantime, South Korea has sectors that consist: military products, machine building, electric power, textiles, tourism, and automobile production. South Korea also has a robust economy and is very famous for exports of cars, ships, computers, and other electronics. in conclusion, how many differences between the two countries' economies can never stop the similarities between them appear.

When it comes to culture, North and South Korea have similarities but also have differences. For instance, both north and south Korea celebrate the same holidays/festivals; they have taekwondo as a popular traditional sport and the handbok, the Korean national costume. Yet in North Korea, citizens are taught to worship Kim sung while in South Korea; Confucius strongly influences citizens; Confucius is known as the first teacher in China who wanted to make education broadly available and instrumental in establishing the art of teaching vocation. He also set ethical, moral, and social standards that formed a way of life known as Confucianism. Even though there are some similarities, there can always be differences that come from a culture.

There is no doubting that there arent any differences and similarities between north and south Korea's government, economy, and culture. Government shows you what and how something goes through in a country; the government also offers you many differences and a few similarities between the two countries. While the economy shows you what industries there are and what rank their country is in, it also shares some differences and similarities. On the other hand, culture explains what beliefs a country has and its traditions; culture also compares many things and contrasts a few things.

This is a very sound essay! I’d say read it out loud to someone you know and see if they also have feedback but really the only thing I can recommend is some smoother transitions
