Explanation:

you can graph each system (i used a graphing calculator called demos) and you look to see where the lines intersect.

but to graph it without a calculator, you can simply you slope intercept form,

y=mx+b, and graph it from there.

for y=-x+5, you can put I -1 in front of the x because x=at least 1 if there is no other number. so then you have -1x+5 so then you go to your graph paper and create a graph and start at 0,5, then you do the slope of 1/1 or 1 to find the line. same with the second problem, 1/4 means rise/ run. so 1 up and 4 to the right. if the answer is negative you with the directions. you start at ten and map it out
