A graph of coal reserves in the United States versus time slopes downward.

What would happen to coal consumption if coal production remained constant?

It would stay the same.

It would increase.

It would fluctuate.

It would decrease.

surely it would decrease as the population gets bigger as there is less to go around and then people would change to other means of energy without coal
