figure one (with x on) has a side of 5 and figure two (with y on) the same side is there
so x/y is equivalent to 3/5

Find the scale by dividing the lengths of figure 1 and figure 2. Such as 4/2.4 is 1.66666 etc. Same with 2/1.2 and 5/3. Meaning, if you divide x and y, they should also equal what 4/2.4, 2/1.2, and 5/3 are. Which is D, 5/3.
