The die goes from 1 to 6. We need to see the numbers that fit the inequality:

p(5 < x ≤ 6)
There is only one integer that is greater than five and less than or equal to six, and that is six. If there is only one number out of six, then:
p(>5) = 1/6

When dealing with probabilities, to determine the probability of two things happening, multiply both probabilities.
