Explanation:

The biggest way to remember equations like these is to know rise over run which means however many times it goes up until it intersects with both x and Y will be on the top of the fraction and however many times it goes to the right until it intersects with both x and y will be on the bottom of the fraction. So since it hits (0, -2) then intersects at (3,0) it will be 2/3x and the Y is where X equals zero so it would be -2. Hope that helps!
