To solve this, we begin by subtracting 7 from both sides:
-3 - 7 = -10
7 - 7 = 0
Our expression becomes:
-10 > -2x
Divide both sides by the coefficient:
5 > x
Now to switch signs:
5 < x
Our expression then becomes x > 5.
